Google Wave Invites

I have a few Google Wave invites available if anyone out there would like one, just leave me a comment and put make sure you put your correct e-mail address into the DISQUS commenting system.

Wave is pretty slick and if you need to do some online collaboration and don’t mind a fairly open environment then this is the perfect product for you.  Wave is NOT a replacement for e-mail,  instant messaging, or your online social networks,  although it pulls in components from all of those types of communication.

    I think it’s amazing how shortsighted people are being. I think Google wave will replace email and IM for many many things once it’s up and running properly

    If Wave tries to fully replace or even take the primary role over e-mail or IM, it would be very clunky. There's a reason that those two products aren't combined, there's a natural division there.

    I certainly see lots of room and potential in the service as a collaboration tool only. Wave isn't destined to replace g-mail – it's destined to get some screen space on g-mail like google talk did, and that's OK.

    Thanks for that KnightKnetwork. But it will be cool if you can give your comments about the usefulness of Google Wave for an average user who is fine with email and SMS.

    Google wave feels more like real-time collaborative chatting than anything else to me.

    I think it's amazing how people are being shortsighted. I think many many things for the wave of Google email and IM space once it's up and running properly I certainly room service and collaboration tools as possible will see very soon. Wave living room is destined to match – it was to talk to the Google G-mail is destined to get some screen space, and that's fine.

    I have had the pleasure to be chosen to try the preview and I must say that it is quite disturbing when using it with more than 2 people! Winners will test it when they get their invites but I must say that I am not sure Google Wave will have a big success for everyone.
