Disqus removed the nofollow tag for more than just Thanksgiving. Indeed, many people benefited from that and I wonder if Disqus is prepared to make this an annual tradition.

If spammers will get dofollow thanksgiving then they would also like to have their site link with that dofollow comment

It's good that its now nofollow. It really was a breeding ground for spammers until then. It should be no follow by default with the option to change to do follow only if the bloggers chooses.

Such a great post and I find a really good Disqus comment plug-in. You can always check back because all of your entries your comments Disqus compiles … So, it's easy to see and follow your comment ..
