(make sure you read down to the bottom…please)

You know that smelly stuff that they sell in the grocery store and at the overpowering odor store at the mall, it’s called soap and I’ve found 5 amazing uses for it:

1. I found out if you get in the shower and rub it all over (called lathering up) and then wash it off I get much cleaner and the girls have been willing to get within 20 feet of me… THANKS SOAP!
2. Add a little soap when scrubbing dishes and they clean up much faster!
3. Put a little soap on dirty clothes when you wash them and they get SUPER CLEAN!
4. For some reason a little soap and water on your hands after going to the bathroom cleans up those dirty looks from everybody else!
5. Soap makes an amazing decorative touch to your bathroom, nothing says classy better than a fresh bar of white soap and your least stained towels when you have guests coming over!

Ok, so I decided to make fun of myself a little here, but thanks to Digg and the traffic that can be generated from stories like this (well not like THIS) I find myself wanting to write more and more eye catching lists. There’s a lot to be said for them, they convey options and condensed information into an easy to consume visual format. For everything they add in usefulness they certainly seem to lose as much in personality and originality, and for me the list pulls the eye and stands out so much as to drown out the rest of the site.

Still, I like traffic and lists are a good way to provide informtaion so you’ll see plenty of them here in the future, but do everyone a favor out there. Support the articles that have some personality and don’t let someone’s list distract you away from their other works because if you liked their list you might just find the rest of their site interesting too.
